Printing Metallic Labels & Stickers on Rolls
If you’re looking to add a metallic finish to your labels, we offer two different options:
- Hot foil stamping
- Metallic label materials
Each method creates a different effect, so we recommend requesting our complimentary Sample Book to compare the available finishes. Here’s a quick overview of each option.
Hot Foil Stamping
Hot foil stamping is the preferred choice for creating premium metallic labels. It produces brilliant metallic accents that are especially popular for wine, spirits, cosmetics, gourmet food, and other luxury products.
Because hot foil stamping requires custom tooling and additional press setup, it costs more than standard printing. However, it’s a standard finishing option at labelmakers.com, and you can get an instant price using our online calculator.
Metallic Label Materials
Looking for a metallic appearance without hot foil stamping? Metallic papers and films offer an excellent alternative.
By printing directly onto silver-coated paper or polypropylene film, we can create a wide range of metallic effects using standard CMYK inks. Gold, bronze, copper, and many other metallic shades are achieved by allowing the metallic substrate to show through the printed colors.
Need multiple versions of the same label? Our digital printing technology allows you to produce multiple designs in a single print run, provided they share the same size and shape.
