What is a Blind Embossed Label?
Blind embossing gives your labels a sophisticated, ink-free relief that enhances both visual appeal and tactile experience. Using controlled heat and pressure, matched dies press the design into paper or film so it rises from the surface. Labelmakers.com typically uses cost-efficient magnesium dies to achieve crisp, well-defined edges; however, for highly intricate or delicate artwork, we can upgrade to premium brass dies.
For an even more luxurious finish, blind embossing can be combined with hot-foil stamping to create relief embossing—a raised metallic effect that underscores the premium quality of your product.
Please note: For blind embossing, design elements and fonts must have a minimum line thickness of 0.4 mm. Additionally, blank spaces and negative gaps require at least 0.6 mm to ensure optimal results.
If you need assistance, our artwork services can help ensure your labels are print-ready.
