At labelmakers.com, all of our labels are produced on rolls because they offer greater efficiency for handling, storage, and application—especially in packaging and bottling operations. Roll labels are also available with a wide range of materials and finishes, allowing you to create labels that are both durable and visually appealing.

Yes. During the ordering process, you can choose the winding direction of your label rolls. Select the option that best suits your application from the available winding directions.

That’s up to you. If you have a preferred number of labels per roll, just let us know or enter it when placing your order using our online calculator.

If you use a label applicator and require a specific maximum roll diameter, you can also specify that during the ordering process to ensure your labels are compatible with your equipment.

Roll labels can be applied either manually or with a label applicator.

If you’re applying labels by hand, simply peel them from the liner and apply them to the product. For automated applications, labels are dispensed and applied using a label applicator.

To ensure your labels work properly with your application method, be sure to specify the correct winding direction and core diameter when placing your order. This helps ensure smooth handling and seamless integration with your labeling or packaging equipment.

Our recommendation:
For the best adhesion, apply labels to clean, dry surfaces. If you’re applying labels by hand, we recommend wearing gloves to prevent fingerprints or oils from affecting adhesion. After application, allow the labels to remain at a stable temperature for at least 48 hours to ensure optimal adhesion. Please note that air bubbles may occur on uneven or textured surfaces.

Yes. If you’d like to see how your labels will look before full production, we can provide a press proof for an additional fee. A print proof allows you to review the printed result and can also be used for color approval before production begins.

We take every step to ensure consistent color reproduction from one production run to the next. Standardized production processes, color matching with previous orders, advanced color measurement systems, and rigorous quality control all help minimize color variation. Our color management system complies with the Process Standard Offset (PSO) standard, ensuring reliable and consistent print quality.

Our standard lead time is 5–10 business days from the date your artwork is approved. Once your artwork has been uploaded and reviewed, we’ll provide you with a more accurate estimated ship date.

Production times may vary depending on the label specifications, selected finishes, and current production capacity.

If we are unable to determine the cause based on the information provided, we may ask you to return the labels for inspection before we can determine the appropriate resolution.

Please note that we are unable to issue a refund or replacement until our quality assessment has been completed. If requested, you may return the affected labels to us at no cost for inspection and proper disposal.
